Bausch & Lomb's Orbscan® IIz and the Humphrey ATLAS Cornea Topography System are fully integrated multidimensional diagnostic systems and the most advanced corneal mapping systems available. They acquire thousands of data points in a matter of seconds that allows them to meticulously map both the front and back surfaces of the cornea, as well as determine pupil size and thickness throughout the entire cornea.
AMO's IntraLase™ FS Laser System offers a new way to create the corneal flap before the laser vision correction treatment. This fourth-generation femtosecond laser, designed specifically for LASIK surgery, has the speed and precision that provide some benefits over other methods of creating a corneal flap.
The VISX® WaveScan aberrometer, a powerful diagnostic tool that helps determine your treatment plan, uses over 200 points of light reflected off your retina to map the imperfections throughout your entire visual pathway. It creates a "fingerprint" of your vision 25 times more precise than previously possible. The data from the aberrometer is downloaded to the laser providing an automated transfer of data on the day of surgery.
VISX® Star S4 Excimer Laser is FDA-approved for Wavefront LASIK and one of the most advanced laser systems available. The VISX Star S4 laser's tradition of dependability and performance is well known.
- Active Trak™, an infrared eye tracking system, follows the eye in all three dimensions
- Variable Spot Scanning™ uses seven variously sized beams for a faster, smoother treatment with precise corneal shaping
- Approved for the treatment of nearsightedness, farsightedness, astigmatism and Wavefront LASIK
ViewPoint&trade Conductive Keratoplasty System, engineered and designed by Refractek, is the first and only CK system licensed in the U.S.
- Controlled radiofrequencey energy with precise depth of treatment
- Has a range of 8-,16-, 24-, 32-spot treatments with a uniform effect through the full length of treatment
- Minimally invasive with one of the best safety profiles of refractive surgery procedures
